Item Description Product Name High Transparency TPU E190L Product Description A thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer with exceptional optical clarity. Key Characteristics 1. Extremely High Transparency: Excellent light transmission and visual clarity.
2. Exceptionally Low Haze: Pure material with minimal light scattering.
3. Superior Mechanical Properties: High tensile strength, high elongation, and excellent tear resistance.Main Applications Transparent protective films, premium phone cases, smartwatch bands, sports eyewear temples, transparent shoe components, medical tubing, high-clarity industrial membranes, electronic/electrical parts requiring transparent wear resistance. Processing Methods Injection Molding, Extrusion (sheet/pipe/profile), Blow Molding. Environmental Certifications ROHS, REACH. Halogen-free, phthalate-free, and FDA (specific grades) certifications available. Color Ultra-clear, Water-clear. Can be tinted with transparent colorants for light transparent effects. Storage Conditions Strictly moisture-proof and light-proof. Store sealed in a dry, cool place (<25°C). Packaging 25 /20 kg/bag Key Physical & Optical Properties Test Item Typical Value/Range Test Standard Hardness 88A - 92A ASTM D2240 Tensile Strength ≥ 35 MPa ASTM D412 Elongation at Break ≥ 500% ASTM D412 Light Transmittance ≥ 90% ASTM D1003 Haze ≤ 3% ASTM D1003 Tear Strength ≥ 80 kN/m ASTM D624 Suggested Molding Conditions Item Parameter/Guideline Drying 100-110°C / 4-6 hours (Absolutely Critical, must use a dehumidifying dryer) Melt Temperature 190 - 210 °C (Mid-to-low range recommended to avoid thermal yellowing) Mold Temperature 20 - 40 °C (High-gloss polished molds are recommended for optimal clarity) Equipment Cleanliness The machine must be thoroughly purged with transparent-grade ABS or PC before production to eliminate any contamination. Critical Precautions 1. Cleanliness & Drying are Paramount: Any trace of moisture, dust, or foreign material residue will cause haze, bubbles, yellowing, or splay marks, completely ruining transparency.
2. Avoid Thermal Degradation: Strictly control melt temperature and residence time. Overheating instantly causes yellowing and permanent loss of clarity.Purge Suggestion Must use high-transparency grade ABS or PC as purge material. Purge for an extended period at low speed and at the lower end of the processing temperature range until the purged strands run completely clear. Never use PP, PE, or recycled material for purging.
