Parameter/Guideline
Drying
100-115°C / 4-6 hours (Absolutely Critical, must use a high-performance dehumidifying dryer, dew point < -40°C)
Melt Temperature
195 - 220 °C (Strict control to avoid thermal yellowing)
Mold Temperature
30 - 60 °C (High-gloss polished molds are recommended for optimal clarity)
Equipment Cleanliness
The machine must be thoroughly purged with high-transparency grade ABS or PC before production to eliminate any contamination.
Critical Precautions
1. Drying is the Sole Critical Factor: Any trace moisture causes severe melt hydrolysis, leading to bubbles, splay marks, haze/loss of clarity, and catastrophic property loss.
2. Clarity Assurance: High-polish molds are mandatory. Optimize runner design and cooling to avoid internal stress causing whitening.Purge Suggestion
Must use high-transparency grade ABS or PC as purge material. Purge for an extended time at low speed and at the lower end of the processing temperature range. Never use PP, PE, or any opaque material for purging.
