    Description

    Product Name

Halogen-Free Flame Retardant Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer

    Product Description

A high-performance engineering elastomer that combines high strength, high elasticity, and environmentally friendly flame retardancy.

    Key Characteristics

    1. Eco-Friendly & Effective Flame Retardancy: Complies with halogen-free standards (e.g., Cl+Br ≤ 1500ppm) and achieves high flame retardancy ratings such as UL 94 V-0 (e.g., @1.0mm or thinner).
    2. Excellent Balanced Mechanical Properties: Maintains high tensile strength, high modulus, good toughness, and fatigue resistance alongside FR performance.
    3. Good Heat Resistance: High continuous service temperature and Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT), superior to many common FR elastomers.

    Main Applications

consumer electronics housings & internal parts (notebook frames, connectors), high-end cable jacketing (USB-C, data cables), electrical components, rail transportation interior parts, mining equipment components.

    Processing Method

Injection Molding (Primary), Extrusion. (Processing methods are similar in concept to TPV in the image, but parameters differ.)

    Key Certs/Standards

Flame Retardancy: UL 94 V-0, V-2, etc.; Environmental: RoHS, REACH, Halogen-Free (e.g., IEC 61249-2-21); Industry: May comply with specific electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC 62368-1).

    Color

Natural and various custom colors available (Flame retardants may affect clarity).

    Appearance

    Uniform pellets.

    Packaging

    Processing Reference

(Critical: TPEE is highly prone to hydrolysis. Drying is more stringent than for TPV.) Thorough drying is MANDATORY: Recommend 3-5 hours at 120°C. Melt Temperature: 210-240°C; Mold Temperature: 40-80°C.

    Key Notes

    1. Extremely Stringent Drying: TPEE is highly hygroscopic. Inadequate drying causes hydrolytic degradation during processing, leading to bubbles, splay marks, and severe loss of mechanical properties.
    3. Tooling & Equipment: Use corrosion-resistant steel for molds and ensure good venting. Clean equipment promptly after processing.
