Product Name
High-Rebound Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer for Sports Shoe Midsole/Insole
Product Description
A Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer (TPEE) specifically designed for high-performance sports footwear.
Key Characteristics
1. High Energy Return & Responsive Resilience: Exceptional energy return efficiency, quickly recovering its shape after compression to deliver responsive propulsion and cushioning.
2. Excellent Compression & Flex Fatigue Resistance: Maintains shape and performance under repeated impact and bending, resisting permanent set or cracking.
3. Superior Abrasion Resistance & Traction (can be compounded with outsole): Good wear resistance, capable of providing reliable traction through formulation and tread design.Main Applications
High-performance running shoe midsoles, basketball shoe midsoles, training shoe midsoles, replaceable insoles, casual shoe composite midsoles.
Processing Method
(Differs from TPV processing) Injection Molding (Primary), Compression Molding. Often used for two-shot molding or compounding with other sole materials.
Key Certs/Standards
Compliant with general consumer product environmental requirements (e.g., RoHS, REACH). Physical property testing can be conducted against specific brand standards.
Color
Customizable to any color as per design requirements. Common colors include white, grey, and various vibrant colors.
Appearance
Uniform pellets.
Packaging
20/25 kg/bag

Processing Reference
(Critical: TPEE is highly prone to hydrolysis. Drying requirements are extremely high.) Thorough drying is MANDATORY: Recommend 4-6 hours at 110-120°C. Melt Temperature: 190-220°C; Mold Temperature: 20-40°C (subject to product design and mold design). Key Notes
Extremely Stringent Drying: TPEE is highly hygroscopic. Inadequate drying causes bubbles, splay marks, and catastrophic loss of mechanical properties (especially resilience and durability) due to hydrolysis.
