Product Name
Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer for Tool and Equipment Grips
Product Description
A high-performance Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer (TPEE) designed for gripping surfaces on tool handles, sports equipment, and personal electronic devices.
Key Characteristics
1. Superior Tactile Feel & Anti-Slip Properties: Offers a dry, skin-friendly, and resilient feel, maintaining effective grip even in wet or oily conditions.
2. Excellent Oil & Chemical Resistance: Resistant to oils, sweat, detergents, and common solvents, easy to clean and slow to degrade.
3. High Tear & Abrasion Resistance: Withstands frequent gripping, friction, and scratching, ensuring a long service life.Main Applications
Overmolded handles for power/hand tools, bicycle/fitness equipment grips, golf club grips, luggage handle sleeves, control lever coverings for professional equipment.
Processing Method
(Differs from TPV processing) Overmolding (two-shot injection) onto rigid substrates (e.g., ABS, PC, PP, Nylon) is primary. Can also be extruded or compression molded separately.
Key Certs/Standards
Compliant with general consumer product environmental and safety requirements Specific physical property testing available upon request.
Color
Available in standard black, grey, or custom colors per customer Pantone references.
Appearance

Customer Internal Method
Processing Reference
Thorough drying is MANDATORY: Recommend 4-6 hours at 110-120°C. Melt Temperature: 200-230°C; Mold Temperature: 40-70°C (higher mold temp improves surface finish and adhesion).
Key Notes
Extremely Stringent Drying: TPEE is highly hygroscopic. Inadequate drying causes splay marks, bubbles, and severe degradation of mechanical properties due to hydrolysis.
